  My 10 year old son has been seeing Dr. Asarian for about 2 years now. We had begun seeing him after my son was diagnosed with ADHD.
  I'd had concerns for many years about how to treat him. I was opposed to the idea of medication. Even though he'd been experiencing a lot of behavioral and academic issues. I was always worried he'd turn into some kind of zombie, which seems to be a common stigma surrounding ADHD treatment. My concerns were met with understanding and reassurance. Dr. Asarian explained that they weren't just looking to properly diagnose children, but to correct those who had been misdiagnosed.
  The testing we went through was not just one of opinion. There was real, tangible proof showing that my son was literally a ball of energy with little control over himself.
  Since my son has been receiving treatment, he's been given several awards for academic excellence, become VP of student counsel and gained so much confidence in himself without ever losing the things that made him the person he is.
  I'm super grateful to Chico Pediatrics and Dr. Asarian for all they do. This has really helped to change my son's life. He's at his full potential! He's happy and healthy and confident! Thanks!
