  It's not "this" Safeway, it's just that "all" Safeways are overpriced. So with a 1 star rating preceding any evaluation of this particular Safeway's merits, it's made quite a comeback, this Safeway. I mean, 3 stars after an wearing a 1 star rating due to it's costly reputation. Pretty good. It got the bump due to it's proximity to my house and penchant for being open late enough for me to pick something up after work. I mean, it's not easy to be a place in this town that's open after 10pm on weeknight unless you're a bar. So kudos, "This" Safeway. Your hours of operation are something to be really proud of. Keep shooting for the stars. But really, I mean, nice comeback. 3 Stars.
